I first met the beautiful Katie & Josh over a year ago when they booked me to photograph their 2017 summer wedding at Shooters Hill Hall! Like many couples they opted for a pre-wedding shoot so that they could get used to being in front of the camera ahead of their big day, so last summer we went over to the fabulous Shropshire Petals for a shoot among the fields of delphiniums. What I loved is that from that visit they decided to incorporate Shropshire petals into their big day by choosing them to provide their confetti following the church service!
Katie & Josh chose the beautiful Shooters Hill Hall as the wedding venue for their big day, and exchanged their vows at the quaint village church in Clive, just a 5 minute drive from Shooters Hill Hall in Shropshire.
Shooters Hill Hall is a beautifully restored Regency mansion situated in the heart of the Shropshire countryside within acres of beautifully kept land. I was honoured to be the photographer to capture the very first wedding at Shooters Hill Hall over 3 years ago, and I am thrilled to be the only female photographer featured as one of Shooters Hill Hall’s recommended wedding suppliers today.
Katie & her girls chose to get ready at Shooter’s Hill Hall on the morning of her wedding, so when I arrived there was a fabulous buzz of excitement in the air as Katie & her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done for the big day!
Once Katie was in her stunning wedding gown, it was time for the big reveal!
I then went ahead to church to capture the beautiful wedding ceremony.
Then the very excited, newly married Mr & Mrs Gray were ready for their first drive as husband and wife back to Shooters Hill Hall for their wedding reception.
After enjoying some time with their family and friends in the wonderful gardens at Shooters Hill Hall, it was time for my favourite part of the day- the Bride & Groom photos!
Then it was time for some photos with family and friends.
The Oak Tree Pavillion was dressed beautifully for the wedding breakfast with stunning floral centrepieces from Florist, Di Shackson.
Following a delicious wedding breakfast by Cheryl Jane Catering it was time for the speeches!
We were blessed with beautiful sun for the evening’s reception, so after some fun and games on the lawns at Shooters Hill Hall it was back inside the marquee for Katie & Josh’s first dance as husband and wife!
I would like to say a huge thanks to the beautiful Katie and Josh for choosing me to photograph your amazing wedding at Shooters Hill Hall. It was a truly beautiful day and I feel blessed to have been able to capture the precious memories of your wedding day for you both.
